- Tree: We love the spruce pine trees right outside of our back windows. They’re a beautiful and green all year round.
- Walk: My favorite time to walk around neighborhoods are early/mid morning and evening. There are hills that allow you to get a good workout, and some that offer a more relaxing. Our townhouse is also walking distance into town with shops, restaurants, breweries
- Hike: Roaring Fork Falls, Mount Mitchell
- Breakfast: App Java- Cozy Local coffee shop. Carriage House Sundries - dine in, more upscale breakfast that offers locally grown ingredients and brunch cocktails. Pig & Grits - guaranteed to meet the longtime locals and enjoy delicious home style cooking!
- Lunch: Snap Dragon - Our Favorite! cozy nautical themed restaurant/bar! Great music, laid back, amazing meals. They offer local grass fed ground beef burgers! Homeplace Brewery & pizzeria! Live music, cornhole, great pizza and other meal options.
- Dinner: Snap Dragon Homeplace Brewery Carriage House Sundries Pacifico- Seafood & Grill Garden Deli
- Pub/Winery: Birdfoot is one of our favorite bars/bottle shops in town. Great music, everyone is so down to earth and it’s a great place to go unwind and meet other people in the area. Fun game nights and other events, also outdoor area with fire pits!
- Living Here Has Been: Living in our house has been such a wonderful adventure! We will truly miss all the resources that we were surrounded by that allowed us to take on adventures every single day. The MANY surreal waterfalls that we enjoyed year round (cold plunging in the winter under waterfalls!) Walking down the street to see cows and chickens and filling baskets full of blueberries from all the wild bushes or walking into town every Week to our local market, hearing live music, and connecting with the people who grow and make our food. It has been such a blessing and there is truly no place like it. Our family has created more amazing memories in this home and community than we could’ve ever asked for.
