My first home in downtown Wilmington my realtor had named, The House of Many Carpets. It was a historic Italianate, and under the carpets were gorgeous heart pine floors.

Favorite season?

I am torn between fall and summer. I love the summer so I can do all the coastal things but I love the fall too.

I draw inspiration from two quotes:

One is from Henry Ford, who said, "Whether you think you can do a thing or not you are right". The other is from Denzel Washington “Hard work works”. There is no shortcut.

    Renee was a wonderful agent for us! We had a complex situation to navigate because we were selling a property prior to purchasing a Historic home in downtown Wilmington. Renee stayed on top of everything and kept us well informed throughout this entire process which took nearly two and half months to complete (from show to sale).     I bought two homes with Renee and sold one; in March, we close on another. From the very beginning I felt like I was working with a family member who has my best interests in mind. As an out of state client, not knowing anyone in the area, I found myself depending on Renee to handle property issues as they arose; she did so willingly.     I could not recommend Renee Reitzel any higher if I tried. She truly cares about her clients and always goes the extra mile! We are so fortunate to have Renee in our corner and have referred her to many friends! When we lived in Colorado and Renee helped us purchase our first home in NC, she had to drive back and forth to Holden Beach (an hour one way). She also had to contact everyone locally that needed to be involved in order for us to be able to buy the home. She is always willing to do research on something if she doesn’t know the answer. We are currently in the process of buying our second home with Renee being our buyers agent again. We wouldn’t choose anyone else to go through this process with!
