As the name suggests, North Downtown is a quiet neighborhood located in the north end of Staunton. Not only is it convenient to shopping, schools, and Mary Baldwin College, the neighborhood also borders a grocery store and the Staunton-Augusta YMCA. Architecture ranges from Colonial Revival to Tudor Revival, ranches, and Cape Cods built in the 1950s.
