What are you proud of?

In 2015, I founded Threads For Good, a positive apparel company for women. Partnering with St. Jude Children’s Hospital, I made sure to give back.

What is my “happy place”?

I love being anywhere that my family is. My husband Kurt and three children—Kipton, Tye, and Remy—bring me joy wherever I am.

Favorite design project?

My kitchen—for sure! Timeless elegance, creative design choices...ask me about my cookie sheet organizer and large utensil storage.

Favorite part of teaching fitness?

I teach a group of post high school young adults with mental handicaps. They are strong and courageous. I love working with them each week.

If I were stuck on a deserted island, what would be my must-haves?

Coffee, more coffee, and my tennis shoes for workouts. :)

What's your favorite local restaurant?

The Depot for its atmosphere, delicious food, and amazing desserts. Give me all the peanut butter pie.

    I have had the good fortune to have Jo Walling as my realtor! This transaction of selling my home was plagued with unforeseen obstacles. Each event was identified immediately and thoroughly remedied relieving my stress level. Jo was always available for me with my questions and her notification of updates on the whole process was greatly appreciated also reducing stress level. Not being new to buying or selling houses I have never experienced a realtor who puts her heart and soul into her clients doing everything she can to get them the best deal! Jo's knowledge and dedication put her in a class all by herself. I will recommend Jo every time to anyone looking to buy or sell their home!!

    We were looking for a realtor that was aggressive and we hit it in spades with Jo. Incredible back story because we had been searching for realtors locally and it was the weekend but we were ready to move and ...... that was not happening - realtors were not responding and nobody in the office. We went back through Zillow to find a realtor (which is not what we were looking/hoping for) but we were connected with Jo and ..... let me tell you - we began to get things done ! I cannot say enough good things about Jo- BEYOND purchasing a home, we were looking for a contractor to renovate the unfinished basement into an in-law suite and Jo was on point locking us in with a contractor that was super knowledgeable and gave us a good price. I could go on but - I have bought and sold a few homes and I am here to tell you - if you want someone working for YOU .... hire Jo !!!

    Jo was absolutely the most attentive, genuinely kind and responsive realtor I've ever worked with, and I've known some very good realtors. She managed the process of purchasing a home long-distance so thoroughly and flawlessly for my parents, while keeping me in the loop at every step of the way (at their request of course), I felt ZERO angst. She went above and beyond to listen to our concerns and get answers in a timely manner. She was with us when she was with us - not on her phone or making a sale. I can tell she's probably an amazing friend, in addition to be a stellar agent. I know I will always call her first to sell or purchase. She's a gem!
