Far West End

As the development of Richmond continued westward into the Far West End, also known as Henrico, homes and lots got larger. Along the River Road corridor to the Goochland County line, you will find some of the finest homes built in the area over the last half century. The northern section of this area features subdivisions from the 1980s to now with large homes on midsized lots.

Key Features

Convenience: Many people settle in the Far West End for the proximity to big box shopping and major employers such as Capital One and Altria. There is easy access to Interstate 64, running east and west, and the 288 connector means the Far West End is now only a 15 minute drive from Chesterfield.

Quiet Neighborhoods: A quick look at the Far West End shows that while you may be close to shopping and work, neighborhoods and tree-lined streets make up the bulk of the area. Homes on larger lots dominate the landscape all the way to the Goochland County line.
