Every Labor Day weekend, people from all over pack our little town for the Taste of the Mountains Street Festival to help us honor our heritage. Old Rag is the highest peak of the Blue Ridge Mountains at more than 3,200 feet. It’s the most challenging hike but the most rewarding when you get to the top to see these breathtaking views of Virginia.
